Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals seeks a Director of Business Strategy & Operations for PPM & Data Science within R&D. The role partners with Heads of two critical functions to accelerate pipeline delivery and AI-driven innovation.

You will oversee workforce planning, budgeting, governance, and cross-functional communications, shaping strategy and execution across global teams in a fast-paced biopharma environment.

Qualifications

• Executive leader with experience influencing at VP/SVP level across technical and operational disciplines.
• Strong background in financial forecasting, budget management, and resource planning.
• Experience in leading workforce planning, capacity modeling, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Chief of Staff to Heads of PPM and Data Science (EDGE) and lead executive cadence.
• Oversee multi-year workforce planning and capacity modeling with HR, Resource Management, and Finance.
• Manage annual operating budgets and monthly financial cadence for PPM and Data Science.
• Lead due diligence and post-deal functional integrations for BD/licensing or platform acquisitions.
• Set annual and long-term OKRs/KPIs and develop executive dashboards for pipeline health and analytics adoption.
• Collaborate with Communications to design internal communications and maintain organizational culture.
