Job summary

Octave is seeking an Executive Director to lead public safety services delivery and operations from Madison, Alabama. This remote role reports to the leadership team and oversees CAD/RMS implementations and regional development.

Qualifications

10+ years progressive leadership in professional services, technology consulting, or public safety.
Experience leading large-scale implementations (100+ concurrent projects) with on-time delivery.
Deep technical expertise in public safety software (CAD, RMS, OnCall/Dispatch, NG911).
Experience managing geographically dispersed implementation teams.
Experience building peer accountability models and leading senior delivery leaders.

Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership: ensure on-time, on-scope delivery across all service functions and drive customer outcomes.
Technical Oversight: provide architecture, standards, and implementation approaches with quality.
Operational Accountability: establish governance and remove blockers to accelerate delivery.
Cross-Functional Leadership: lead multiple service delivery domains with shared outcomes.
Customer sponsorship: manage executive escalations and drive customer success.
Transformation & Culture: lead organizational transformation and develop leadership pipeline.
