Job summary

Octave, a leading provider of mission-critical software for public safety, seeks an Executive Director of North America Sales to drive growth across the Public Safety portfolio. You will lead a high-performing team, shape regional sales strategies, and partner with Success, Services, Marketing, and Product to close strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 10+ years of enterprise software, SaaS, or technology sales experience.
• 5+ years leading sales teams.
• Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and achieving revenue targets.
• Experience building pipeline and managing strategic customer relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Account Executives and Sales Directors across North America.
• Establish clear performance expectations and accountability for revenue goals.
• Drive disciplined pipeline management, opportunity progression, and forecast accuracy.
• Conduct regular business reviews and sales coaching sessions.
• Support territory planning and account strategy development.
• Achieve quarterly and annual bookings targets and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing to support lead generation and market awareness.
• Partner with Customer Success and Services to identify account expansions in existing customers.
• Maintain executive involvement in strategic sales pursuits and negotiations.
• Build relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
