YMCA of South Hampton Roads is seeking an Executive Director to oversee daily operations and provide cause-driven leadership across staff, volunteers, and programs. You will manage fiscal oversight, development, and community relations at a multi-location YMCA in the Chesapeake area.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years of management experience in a nonprofit setting, strong financial prowess, and the ability to lead program expansion, fundraising, and board engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong business operations background and proven growth and financial management.
• Five+ years of successful management experience, preferably in YMCA or nonprofit.
• Ability to lead operations including staff development, budgets, membership and program development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the assigned location.
• Develop, manage, and achieve budget expectations for childcare, events, rentals, sports, and aquatics.
• Lead fundraising efforts with focus on staff and community giving.
