Job summary

South Texas Youth for Christ seeks a Chief Investment Officer to lead development and fundraising, reporting to the CEO and shaping the chapter's development strategy. You will oversee donor relations, grant funding, and communications, building a portfolio of ministry partners and managing data within Salesforce.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to recruit and supervise staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Development planning: participate in annual development planning and resource allocation.
• Personal engagement: build and manage a portfolio of ministry partner relationships with emphasis on major gifts.
• Communication: oversee chapter-wide communications, branding, marketing materials, and external messaging.
• Event management: plan, execute, and follow up on fundraising events and partner appreciation activities.
• Administrative support: manage donor data in Salesforce, coordinate gift processing and acknowledgments, and support grants.
• Staff supervision: oversee development staff, set performance metrics, and assist with volunteer team management.
