Job summary

Youth For Christ International is seeking a Development professional to advance our mission by shaping and executing a comprehensive development plan. The role focuses on donor cultivation, major gifts, and sustaining ministry funding across chapters and sites.

The position entails managing partner relationships, producing external communications, coordinating events, and coaching staff to engage supporters with integrity and faith-based stewardship.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy building relationships and talking on the telephone.
• Be comfortable in a public facing role.
• Skilled in giving partner recruitment and relationship cultivation.
• Ability to inspire, assemble and mobilize staff to meet goals.
• Interact with diverse people with maturity and professionalism.
• Detail-oriented and able to track conversations in a database.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and planning the annual development plan.
• Develop and manage 40-50 ministry partner relationships.
• Meet with partners using the 7 Touch philosophy and Major Giving Process.
• Oversee external communications and branding standards.
• Coordinate events and legacy giving initiatives.
• Provide staff coaching and development support.
