Job summary
BBVA USA is expanding its Global Liability Management Advisory team in New York, seeking a senior professional to lead liability management transactions for US-based clients with LATAM exposure. Qualifications
- 7–10+ years in Liability Management, Debt Advisory, or DCM
- Strong US market track record with LATAM exposure
- Deep understanding of fixed income, funding strategies, and capital structures
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting
- Advanced financial modelling skills and strong analytical mindset
- Client-facing experience with origination and deal execution
- Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus
- SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses
Responsibilities
- Originate and lead execution of liability management mandates
- Advise clients on refinancing, capital structure optimization and bond strategies
- Partner with Coverage, DCM, and other product teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Build and oversee advanced financial models and transaction analytics
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with clients and prospects
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to platform growth
