Job summary

BBVA in New York is seeking an experienced Credit Risk professional to analyze Financial Institutions and oversee counterparty risk for U.S. and Latin American entities.

You will review ISDA/CSA related documentation, monitor credit limits, and coordinate approvals for global trade finance bookings in NY. The role requires a Bachelor's in Finance or Economics and 5–7 years in finance, credit risk, or underwriting; Spanish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5–7 years in Finance, Credit Risk, or underwriting.
• Ability to speak and read Spanish is a strong plus.
• Experience with ISDA/CSA/MRA/GMRA documentation desirable.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills

Responsibilities

• Monitors risk quality and credit process per monitoring & follow up policy.
• Provides data to prepare reports with trends and ratios of risk metrics.
• Analyze quality risk indicators to minimize losses.
• Provide timely reports to the Monitoring & Follow up Committee, Board, Spain, etc.
