Job summary

BBVA’s Corporate & Investment Banking unit seeks a Vice President to join the Insurance Coverage team in New York. You will support origination and execution with US insurers, coordinating with Global Markets and Investment Banking colleagues.

The role demands client-facing senior exposure, deal execution, and content creation for strategic dialogues with insurers and asset managers. Strong regulatory awareness and cross-border collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance sector or financial institutions coverage.
• Strong understanding of balance sheets, accounting, and capital frameworks.
• Ability to produce senior-ready materials with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead MD-level client coverage for insurance clients, developing plans and cross-sell opportunities.
• Execute across the insurance capital markets toolkit and coordinate with product partners in multiple locations.
• Create high-quality client materials and monitor regulatory and market developments.
