Job summary

University of Wyoming seeks a Faculty/Executive Director for the SUS-UW Kinesiology Undergraduate Dual-degree Program. The role blends senior academic leadership with teaching 1–2 courses annually, curriculum implementation, and cross‑institution coordination in Shanghai, China.

Applicants should have strong organizational and English communication skills, experience leading programs, and the ability to manage a $1.5–5 million annual budget.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in kinesiology/health or related field.
• Evidence of university-level teaching and academic program administration.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal English communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with MVR compliant with Driving for University Business.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the UW principal academic (Faculty) and administrator (Executive Director) for the dual-degree program.
• Lead implementation of the approved curriculum and study plan, ensuring alignment with UW policies and standards.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate UW courses at SUS, including course rotations and delivery logistics.
• Recruit, supervise, mentor, and support UW instructors and program personnel.
• Assign teaching loads, coordinate schedules, and foster a collaborative team.
• Onboard instructional faculty at SUS campus in Shanghai and support instructional duties.
• Monitor course delivery, learning outcomes, and program metrics; lead assessment and improvements.
• Maintain timely communication with UW and SUS stakeholders on policies, grading, and operations.
• Collaborate on student recruitment, orientation, advising, and accreditation activities.
• Teach 1-2 undergraduate courses annually in the dual-degree curriculum.
• Provide academic mentoring and support to enrolled students in person and virtually.
• Engage and steward program alumni.
• Lead the program's fiscal authority for a $1.5–5 million annual gross budget.
