Special Olympics Wyoming is seeking a full-time Exempt Director of Unified Champion Schools based in Casper, WY. The role leads UCS across Wyoming, working with schools to promote inclusive programs and manage grants.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, strong organizational and communication skills, and travel statewide. Benefits include health and dental insurance, retirement match, and paid leave, with a salary range of $46,500–$50,000 DOE.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or combination of equivalent work experience/education required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects; able to work independently and in a team.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and current social media platforms.
• Experience with Special Olympics or a school-based setting preferred.
• Travel statewide and work a non-traditional 40+ hour week; occasional out-of-state travel may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a UCS liaison for school programs and strengthen relationships with school contacts.
• Manage the grant supporting UCS, including grant writing, budgeting, and monthly reporting.
• Support UCS programming in schools with information, equipment, and resources.
• Travel to schools statewide to network, recruit, and educate.
• Implement all UCS components in Wyoming (unified sports, inclusive youth leadership, whole school engagement).
• Collect and maintain data from schools; include participant numbers and event information.
• Develop communication materials and newsletters; coordinate YAC and statewide Inclusive Youth Leadership opportunities.
• Collaborate with local and national teams to meet goals and support pre-schools Young Athletes programs.
• Partner with Wyoming High School Activities Association for Unified opportunities.
