Job summary

University of Washington Graduate School is seeking an Associate Director of Academic Unit Review to lead the cross-campus review of undergraduate and graduate programs. The role reports to the Director of Academic Affairs and Policy and oversees a team to ensure timely, data-informed reviews and continuous improvement in curriculum and policy.

The position is based on the Seattle campus with a hybrid schedule and requires strong relationship-building with deans, chairs and directors.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree.
• Three years of experience in an institutional assessment, academic administration or leadership role, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data-informed decision making.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Academic Unit Review process for all units offering undergraduate and graduate programs across the three UW campuses.
• Plan and develop strategies, processes and resources to help academic units prepare for and enact final recommendations from Academic Unit Review.
• Advise faculty, staff, and students about the review process and provide counsel to the faculty review committee evaluating each unit.
