University of Wisconsin-Whitewater invites applications for an Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) in Kinesiology. The department seeks a dedicated educator and scholar to lead high-impact teaching, research, and service, with a 24-credit annual load and student advising responsibilities.

The role emphasizes accessibility and curriculum development, within a supportive campus community. Qualified candidates hold a terminal degree by start date; ABDs may apply with degree completion by August

Qualifications

Terminal degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Health Science, Human Performance, or related discipline by appointment time.
ABD are eligible but degree must be completed before the contract start date.
Prior teaching excellence and ability to teach online or in-person courses desirable.

Responsibilities

Deliver 24 credits of instruction per academic year in the Kinesiology Department.
Maintain at least five office hours weekly for student support and advising.
Use Navigate for advising/mentoring notes and timely communications.
Ensure timely submission of course syllabi meeting university requirements.
Contribute to curriculum development and program assessment.
Develop accessible instructional materials compliant with Title II (ADA).
