Job summary

Santander in the United States seeks an Executive Director to manage Transaction Management for Corporate & I-Banking Lending Products, leading complex Leveraged Finance and Structured Finance deals from pre-approval to close.

The role requires coordinating documentation, approvals, funding readiness and cross-functional collaboration with Advisory, Legal, Credit, Agency, and Operations teams, while mentoring the US team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of Leveraged Finance and Structured Finance lending transactions.
• Experience with syndicated loan processes, KYC/AML, booking, funding and servicing handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution coordination for complex Leveraged Finance and Structured Finance transactions from pre-approval through close.
• Coordinate closing checklists, conditions precedent, documentation status and funds flow.
• Prepare or validate booking instructions and ensure accurate system setup and funding readiness.
• Coordinate transaction amendments, waivers, extensions and other lifecycle events.
