Santander Consumer USA Inc. is seeking a senior leader to drive regional business development for syndicated loans, build and retain large client relationships, and guide deal teams through underwriting and due diligence.

The role requires deep knowledge of banking products, exceptional communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills, plus the ability to travel within the territory and work independently. A top-tier track record in finance is expected.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Business Development, Product Specialist Management, or related experience.
• Demonstrated thought leadership in banking products and services.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities.
• Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Analytical thinking and detail orientation; able to work remotely and independently.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Company's business development efforts across the assigned region targeting larger scale clients.
• Provide the full breadth of Santander's products and services to clients and prospects.
• Oversee deal teams during underwriting and due diligence processes.
• Oversee production of offering memoranda and engagement letters.
• Develop and maintain relationships with participating lenders for syndicated loans.
