Job summary

Cohere is seeking an Executive Director for Silverwood in Hesperia, CA to lead Community Life, oversee operations, governance, engagement and programs, and partner with developers, boards and residents. This on‑site role drives strategic direction, team development, financial performance, and stakeholder relationships to shape a thriving master‑planned community.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, collaborate with stakeholders, ensure high standards of service, and lead initiatives

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in community‑based organizations, community operations, governance, nonprofit management, community development, or related work.
• Senior leadership experience within a large‑scale master‑planned community or similarly complex environment.
• Experience leading teams and managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Community: oversee operations, governance, engagement, communications, amenities, and programs.
• Build Strong Partnerships: collaborate with developers, boards, residents, and partners to fulfill commitments.
• Shape Community Life: develop initiatives that encourage connection, participation, and belonging.
• Drive Strategy & Operations: develop plans, manage budgets, and ensure professional governance and service delivery.
