The role manages the dining services team, oversees kitchen and dining operations, and partners with vendors and leadership to meet food safety, infection control, and budget standards, while balancing cook and server duties.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with culinary training or 3-5 years of culinary experience required.
• Food Manager Certification, or ability to obtain, is required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Experience in a senior living community is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises 10-15 employees in day-to-day dining services for seniors.
• Schedule staff and provide coverage as needed.
• Maintain communication with vendors and leadership teams.
• Oversee budgeting, inventory, and food safety compliance.
• Create resident-friendly menus and train staff on operation and sanitation.
