Job summary

Cedarhurst of East Louisville is seeking a Dining Services Director to lead all aspects of the community's dining program. You will supervise 10–15 staff, plan menus, and ensure nutritious meals with exceptional hospitality, while maintaining safety, budgets, and vendor partnerships.

The role requires strong leadership, menu development skills, and a collaborative approach with executives, marketing, and regional dining leadership to enhance resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with culinary training or 3–5 years of culinary experience.
• State/county licensure required; Food Manager Certification preferred or obtainable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic HR/electronic record tools.
• Experience leading dining services teams in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 10–15 dining staff and schedule coverage for meals and events.
• Oversee menu planning, food prep, and kitchen operations with safety standards.
• Manage inventories, vendor relations, and food costs within budget.
• Train staff, ensure infection control, and support marketing and resident satisfaction.
• Lead diet structure, customer service, and collaboration with leadership teams.
