Job summary

North Star Community Credit Union is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead day-to-day operations and drive strategic initiatives in alignment with the credit union’s long-term goals and commitment to member service.

Reporting to the CEO, the COO will oversee the branch network, call center, back-office operations, consumer deposits and loan originations, marketing, and training and talent development; lead organizational growth, partner with the board on strategic planning and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of progressive credit union leadership experience.
• Advanced degrees and industry certifications are preferred.
• Proven track record in strategic planning and organizational growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch network, call center, back-office operations, deposits and loan originations.
• Lead marketing, training and talent development; champion service excellence.
• Partner with CEO and board on strategic planning, governance and reporting.
• Drive innovation, process improvement and alignment with long-term goals.
