H&R Block seeks a senior compensation leader to partner with executives and P&C to design and administer compensation programs, including equity, governance, and executive pay. You will drive strategic projects, collaborate across finance, legal, payroll, and HR systems, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Eight+ years in compensation design and administration with program evaluation.
• Analytical mindset with strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence executives.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide programs and presenting to leadership.
• Strong project management and finance skills, with multi-project delivery ability.
• Expert understanding of market surveys and compensation tools (BetterComp, Market Pay).
• Solid understanding of compensation job structures.

Responsabilités

• Lead compensation programs and cross-functional projects aligned to strategy.
• Advise leadership on pay recommendations and job structure changes.
• Administer equity plans and stock-based awards with finance and payroll.
• Design and govern compensation programs plus communication strategy.
• Manage monthly/quarterly/year-end processes and proxy-related tasks.
• Serve as a lead resource on special projects and practice areas.
