Highmark Health seeks an executive communications leader to partner with the CEO and senior leaders, translating complex strategies into compelling messaging that inspires action and reinforces the organization's mission.

The role leads development of executive communications across speeches, town halls, employee communications, board materials, and thought leadership, while coaching a team and aligning with enterprise priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required; substitutions: 6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
• 7 years in health care, health insurance, IT and/or large corporate communications related field.
• 5 years managing large communication programs in corporate environments.
• 5 years Change Management Communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive executive communications strategies aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Advise executive leaders on messaging, positioning, and stakeholder engagement.
• Anticipate communications opportunities and risks and recommend proactive approaches.
• Write and edit high-impact communications, including speeches and keynote presentations; town hall remarks; employee communications; leadership messages and video scripts; board and leadership materials; articles, blogs, and thought leadership content; social media content and external bylines.
• Oversee internal communication channels (intranet, campaign managers, electronic boards) and integration of channels; develop analytics and reporting for senior leadership.
