Job summary

BJC HealthCare seeks an experienced leader to drive the executive communications program, elevating visibility internally and externally. The role partners with BJC's leadership to craft speeches, presentations, social content, white papers, blogs, and more to advance the organization’s messaging.

The role focuses on developing compelling narratives, supporting thought leadership, and coordinating with Media Relations and digital marketing to execute a cohesive communications strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–10 years of experience.
• 5–10 years of supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages personnel: hires, trains, assigns work, evaluates performance, and develops staff.
• Develops staffing, budget, and expense plans; responds to business changes affecting budgets.
• Sets strategy for executive communications across the organization; develops narratives for leadership communications.
• Writes crisp content for internal and external audiences.
• Contributes to thought leadership through traditional and social media.
• Collaborates with Media Relations, digital marketing, and other MarComm leaders on external communication strategy.
