Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in New Jersey seeks an experienced Executive Chef to lead our Signature Dining Program. This hands-on leader will develop a talented culinary team, craft chef-inspired, from-scratch menus, and uphold the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

You will manage food production, ensure efficiency within budget, supervise kitchen staff, and drive ongoing improvements while engaging residents through dining experiences and regular visits.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 3 years Executive Chef experience.
• Fine dining experience a plus.
• Knowledge of ala carte and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls and presentation.
• Good knowledge of PC software and POS systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring efficiency, quality and consistency from purchasing to plate presentation.
• Supervise and support all kitchen staff ensuring adherence to performance standards.
• Implement and maintain core menus, recipe management systems, and BOH computer systems.
• Ensure kitchen equipment and areas meet sanitation standards, including monthly sanitation audits.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state food safety regulations (Health Dept, HACCP).
• Build strong relationships with residents through regular dining room visits and engagement meetings.
