Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, seeks an experienced Executive Chef to lead our Signature Dining Program. In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide a culinary team, develop from-scratch menus, and uphold high standards of food quality and presentation, while engaging with residents through dining room visits.

You should have a minimum of 3 years as an Executive Chef, strong knowledge of ala carte and catering trends, and proficiency with PC

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Executive Chef experience.
• Fine dining experience a plus.
• Knowledge of ala carte and catering trends; focus on quality, production, sanitation and food presentation.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all aspects of food production within budget guidelines.
• Supervise and support kitchen staff and ensure adherence to standards.
• Implement and maintain menus, recipe management, and BOH systems.
• Ensure sanitation standards and monthly audits.
• Maintain high standards for food quality and presentation.
• Engage with residents through regular dining room visits and engagement meetings.
