Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our Signature Dining Program in a hands-on leadership role. You will inspire and develop a culinary team while delivering chef-inspired, from-scratch cuisine and outstanding dining experiences for residents.

You will create menus, uphold food quality and presentation standards, manage costs, ensure sanitation and safety, and engage residents through regular dining-room

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Executive Chef experience.
• Fine dining experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of ala carte and catering trends, quality and presentation.
• Proficiency with PC software and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of food production within budget guidelines.
• Supervise and support kitchen staff to maintain standards.
• Implement and maintain core menus and recipe systems.
• Ensure sanitation standards and monthly audits are conducted.
• Maintain compliance with Health Department and HACCP regulations.
• Engage residents through regular dining room visits.
