Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our Signature Dining Program on-site in New Jersey. You will inspire and develop a culinary team, delivering chef-driven, from-scratch menus that align with our high standards of quality and presentation while focusing on resident satisfaction.

The role requires at least 3 years of Executive Chef experience, with fine dining background a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Executive Chef experience.
• Fine dining experience preferred.
• Experience with ala carte and catering trends, food cost controls, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of food production ensuring quality, efficiency and consistency.
• Supervise and support kitchen staff to meet performance standards and operations.
• Implement core menus, recipe management and BOH systems.
• Ensure sanitation standards and monthly audits are conducted.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).
• Build relationships with residents through regular dining room visits and engagement.
