Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our award-winning Signature Dining Program. This hands-on leadership role will inspire a culinary team, create chef-inspired, from-scratch menus, and uphold the highest standards of food quality and presentation for our residents.

You will oversee all aspects of food production, manage budgets, implement menus, and foster teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Executive Chef experience.
• Fine dining experience is a plus.
• Experience with ala carte and catering trends focusing on quality, cost controls and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of food production within budget guidelines.
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure adherence to standards.
• Implement menus, recipe management, and BOH systems.
• Ensure sanitation and HACCP compliance.
• Engage residents through dining room visits.
