Job summary

Compass Healthcare is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations, ensure safety and sanitation, and direct meal preparation in alignment with corporate programs. This role targets an energetic culinary professional with entrepreneurial spirit.

The candidate will plan menus, supervise staff, manage inventory, and uphold quality and presentation standards in a high-volume healthcare foodservice environment.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Extensive catering experience is a plus.
• High-volume, complex foodservice operations experience desired.
• Hands-on chef experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safety, and sanitation per standards.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas.
• Manages inventory and procurement to stay within guidelines.
