Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a member of Compass Group USA, is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations and ensure safe, high-quality meal production. You will direct meal preparation in line with corporate programs and lead a team of culinary professionals.

The role requires 5+ years of progressive kitchen management, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach. Experience with food cost controls and a focus on quality and sanitation is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum A.S. or equivalent experience is required.
• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Experience in high volume healthcare or institutional foodservice preferred.
• Hands-on chef with strong leadership and training ability.
• Knowledge of food cost controls and presentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related tools; ServSafe desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations and maintain safety and sanitation.
• Direct preparation of meals per corporate programs and guidelines.
• Plan regular and modified menus within guidelines.
• Train kitchen staff in food preparation, safety, and equipment use.
• Maintain inventory and scheduling to meet production needs.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies.
• Participate in department meetings and professional development.
