Job summary

Immanuel Communities is seeking an Executive Chef to lead all aspects of our culinary program at The Landing in Lincoln, NE. You will craft menus, manage food purchasing and inventory, and guide a talented kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong food safety practices, budgeting, scheduling, and a commitment to growth and development within the organization. Typical hours are 11:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts is required.
• Three (3) years of experience as a chef is required, with executive chef experience preferred.
• One (1) year of managerial experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the culinary program and dining experiences for residents.
• Oversee menu development, food purchasing and inventory management, budgeting, staffing, scheduling, training, and team development.
• Design creative dining offerings and ensure excellence in food preparation, presentation, portion control, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
