Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is seeking an Executive Chef to lead The Commoner, Banquets and Catering operations. You will interview, train and manage chefs and cooks, while guiding menu development and cost controls to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include kitchen leadership, collaboration with Marketing on events, and ensuring safety, health codes, and staff development. Minimum two years as an Executive Chef, ServSafe/CPR certifications preferred; strong English

• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Analytical mindset for budgeting, cost controls and forecasts.
• Willingness to commit to 50+ hours per week.

Responsabilidades

• Lead culinary operations for The Commoner, Banquets and Catering events.
• Interview, hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff; schedule duties.
• Develop menus based on trends, regional tastes, and seasonal pricing.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and health-code compliance in all kitchens.
• Collaborate with Marketing on on-property programming and activations.
• Monitor labor and food costs; manage inventory and vendor relations.
• Drive guest satisfaction and quality through training and standards.
