Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh is seeking a Banquet Chef to lead quality food preparation for events. You’ll work with Catering and Banquets teams to ensure flawless execution from start to finish, maintain equipment and space cleanliness, and uphold sanitary standards.

A flexible schedule with evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. With 2+ years in a similar kitchen, you will contribute to a vibrant team focused on guest connections and exceptional experiences in a boutique hotel

Qualifications

• 2+ years relative experience in a kitchen of similar size.
• Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to wear multiple hats as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with excellent food quality in an attractive environment and with professional service.
• Collaborate with Catering and Banquets teams to ensure smooth event execution from start to finish.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen facilities and equipment.
• Prevent waste and contamination by following sanitation practices and policies.
• Follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen rules.
