Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a savvy communications professional to support our CEO’s most visible moments. You’ll shape narrative strategy and turn it into words for fireside chats, earnings remarks, podcasts, media interviews, and LinkedIn.

You will draft messaging, prep interviews, and collaborate with Product PR, the Office of the CEO, Government Affairs, Investor Relations, and other teams. Strong news judgment and the ability to write in someone else’s voice under tight deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

8+ years in executive communications, speechwriting, corporate communications, journalism, or similar field.
Experience writing for a CEO or senior spokesperson preferred.
Experience running LinkedIn for a senior leader: posts, calendar, engagement data.
Strong news judgment and ability to act quickly on narratives.

Responsibilities

Monitor outside narrative across news, social platforms, podcasts, newsletters, and analyst commentary.
Maintain messaging bank to ensure consistency across CEO appearances.
Ground content in transcripts, coverage, and past remarks to avoid contradictions.
Flag emergent narratives and deliver concise briefings with recommendations.
Collaborate with Product PR, CEO Office, Government Affairs, Investor Relations, and others.
Draft cue cards, talk tracks, scripts, and fireside chat questions on tight deadlines.
Help prepare CEO for media interviews: research outlets, build messages, capture takeaways.
Manage CEO LinkedIn presence and content calendar, tying posts to priority narratives.
