Salesforce is hiring a savvy communications professional to shape narrative for our CEO, turning messaging into fireside chats, earnings remarks, podcasts, and media interviews.

You'll keep a constant read on external conversations, ensuring our CEO's voice stays consistent, timely, and on-brand, while partnering with media relations, product PR, and cross-functional teams to align messaging and prep for high-profile appearances.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in executive communications, speechwriting, corporate communications, journalism, or similar.
• Exceptional writing and editing demonstrated in a portfolio.
• Executive social media expertise, especially LinkedIn for a senior leader.
• Strong news and narrative judgment with awareness of media dynamics.
• Fluency or curiosity in AI and enterprise technology landscapes.
• High judgment and discretion handling sensitive topics.

Responsibilities

• Keep a pulse on the outside narrative including news, social, podcasts, and analyst commentary.
• Maintain a living bank of messaging and ensure consistency across CEO appearances.
• Ground content in existing remarks and transcripts to avoid contradictions.
• Flag developments with timely, concise reads and recommended engagement approaches.
• Work cross-functionally with Product PR, Office of the CEO, Government Affairs, Investor Relations.
• Draft messaging assets: cue cards, talk tracks, scripts for events and interviews.
• Support media interviews by researching outlets and shaping key messages and Q&A.
• Own the CEO's LinkedIn presence: posts in his voice, content calendar, performance tracking.
