Compensation: $135,000–$150,000 base + bonus
About the Role
Our client, a leading private equity firm, is seeking a highly experienced Executive Assistant to support a Co-Founder in its Austin office. This is a high-touch role for someone who is polished, proactive, highly organized, and comfortable operating with discretion and sound judgment.
The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted partner to the Co-Founder, managing complex professional and select personal responsibilities while anticipating needs and staying several steps ahead.
Key Responsibilities
High-Touch Executive Support
- Manage a complex and dynamic calendar, including internal meetings, investors, calls, dinners, and personal commitments.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries, hotels, transportation, and last-minute changes.
- Prepare the Co-Founder for meetings by organizing agendas, materials, and relevant information.
- Coordinate meetings and communication with investors, portfolio company executives, advisors, and other senior contacts.
- Manage expenses, invoices, and other administrative needs.
- Handle highly confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
- Serve as a trusted gatekeeper and point of contact.
Personal & Lifestyle Support
- Provide select personal support, including appointments, reservations, travel, events, and other logistics.
- Coordinate personal vendors, deliveries, gifting, and special requests.
- Assist with dinners, private events, and other personal engagements.
- Anticipate needs and proactively manage last-minute requests.
Special Projects
- Support the Co-Founder with ad hoc projects, research, events, and special initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve organization, efficiency, and overall executive support.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience supporting a Founder, Co-Founder, CEO, Managing Partner, or senior executive.
- Experience in private equity, investment banking, venture capital, financial services, consulting, or a similar high-performance environment preferred.
- Proven experience providing high-touch, white-glove executive support.
- Exceptional calendar management and travel coordination skills.
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Highly proactive with the ability to anticipate needs and manage shifting priorities.
- Excellent judgment and discretion with confidential information.
- Polished, professional presence and strong interpersonal skills.
- Resourceful, solution-oriented, and calm under pressure.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Zoom, and other productivity tools.
- Comfortable using AI and technology to improve efficiency.
- Flexibility to occasionally support early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
