UChicago Medicine is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Chief Clinical Officer at our Hyde Park campus in Chicago, IL. The role requires managing the executive’s day-to-day operations, communications, and budget with high confidentiality.

You will interact with leadership and staff across the Medical Center and University, handle multiple concurrent tasks, and drive office efficiency through process improvements and polished document preparation.

Qualifications

• Seven years of administrative or secretarial experience in a healthcare or professional setting.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations with final-form document handling.
• Ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of reports, documents, and records.
• Coordinate communications within Medical Center, University, and divisions.
• Manage office tasks, organize multiple projects, and identify operational improvements.
• Draft written policies/procedures for suggested changes.
• Oversee projects with minimal supervision and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate supplies, work orders, and department office needs.
