About the Opportunity
A highly regarded venture capital firm in Menlo Park is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support a Partner and join a collaborative team of Executive Assistants.

The ideal candidate will bring strong executive support experience, excellent judgment, and the ability to anticipate needs while managing multiple priorities with discretion and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to a Partner, managing a complex and frequently changing calendar
- Coordinate internal and external meetings across portfolio companies, investors, founders, and other key stakeholders
- Manage meeting logistics, scheduling, conference rooms, and preparation of materials
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries and last-minute changes
- Prepare and submit expense reports and maintain accurate records
- Manage communications and help prioritize incoming requests
- Assist with firm, portfolio, and industry events, including scheduling, logistics, invitations, and follow-up
- Partner closely with other Executive Assistants to ensure seamless coverage across the firm
- Help coordinate team meetings, offsites, dinners, and other firm activities
- Anticipate the Partner's needs and proactively resolve scheduling or logistical issues
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high level of discretion
- Take on additional administrative and project-based responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- Approximately 5+ years of Executive Assistant or senior administrative support experience
- Experience supporting senior executives, Partners, founders, or other high-level leaders
- Previous experience within venture capital, private equity, financial services, professional services, or another fast-paced corporate environment strongly preferred
- Venture capital experience is a plus, but not required
- Excellent calendar management and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly polished, professional, and comfortable interacting with senior-level stakeholders
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to anticipate needs, exercise good judgment, and operate independently
- Flexible and comfortable adjusting to changing priorities
- Collaborative, low-ego approach and willingness to support the broader EA team
- Strong discretion when handling confidential information
- Comfortable working onsite in Menlo Park Monday through Thursday
