Job summary

Janus Henderson is seeking a senior AI governance professional to lead governance and risk oversight for AI initiatives across asset management. You will monitor regulatory developments, interpret AI rules (e.g.

EU AI Act), and collaborate with Data Privacy, CISO and Technology teams to implement effective controls. The role offers hybrid work, a competitive total rewards package, and opportunities to shape responsible AI adoption while ensuring governance and policy alignment with regulators

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of AI regulation and governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, industry standards).
Experience owning or operating enterprise policy, governance and risk frameworks (AI, tech, data or model risk).
Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls and operating models.

Responsibilities

Monitor regulatory and legislative AI developments and interpret implications across the business.
Own interpretation of policies and translate requirements into policies, guardrails and platform controls.
Chair governance forums and oversee AI risk management within the framework of policy and standards.
Provide governance requirements arising from laws, regs, standards or internal policies.
Oversee monitoring capabilities and ensure AI risk management aligns with other risk policies.
