Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors seeks a Head of AI to guide the firm’s AI strategy on the executive leadership team. You will collaborate with innovation and technology groups to drive transformative AI initiatives, balancing technical excellence with risk and governance.

You will report to the CEO and engage with boards, shaping ethical AI adoption, data management, and strategic technology investment across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in AI strategy and transformation.
• 5+ years in leadership or managerial capacity.
• Proven track record of leading AI-driven R&D initiatives and bringing innovative products to market.
• Demonstrated success in building and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a cohesive AI and technology strategy aligned with firm goals.
• Lead R&D initiatives to drive AI-powered innovation and assess applicability to business objectives.
• Build and mentor a high-performing AI/technology team and foster a culture of learning.
• Establish AI standards and governance across product design and development.
• Oversee data governance, security, and privacy for AI systems.
