Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors seeks a senior AI governance professional to lead regulatory oversight of AI initiatives, risk management, and governance across the firm. You will partner with policy, data privacy, security and technology teams to implement controls and monitor AI use.

The role emphasizes ethical AI, risk-aware decision-making, and collaboration with senior leadership in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of AI governance frameworks, including EU AI Act and NIST RMF.
Proven experience owning or operating enterprise policy, governance and risk frameworks, related to AI/technology/data.
Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls and operating models.
Experience leading governance forums and challenging senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Monitor regulatory and legislative developments related to AI and disseminate implications across the business.
Own policy interpretation with Governance Implementation to translate requirements into policies and controls.
Serve as AI Policy owner in partnership with Head of AI and other stakeholders.
Oversee AI risk appetite and risk framework, including risk tiering for approvals.
Establish monitoring capabilities and governance to ensure compliant AI use and outcomes.
Chair governance forums and drive decision-making on AI risk controls.
