Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an Advisory Director Client Relationship Executive to accelerate Transformation growth by leveraging executive relationships and cross-functional teams. This role focuses on modernizing operating models, improving efficiency, and driving growth across Finance, Operations, Workforce, and ERP solutions.

The CRE operates at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and client relationship management to craft compelling value propositions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Advisory/consulting sales, complex solution selling, or enterprise transformation pursuits with C-suite/Board-level buyers.
• Proven success building executive relationships and driving growth in a matrixed professional services environment.
• Strong commercial acumen: qualification discipline, win strategy, pricing, negotiation, and executive storytelling.
• Ability to translate complex capabilities into clear value propositions and scalable pursuit narratives.

Responsibilities

• Active Prospecting & Business Origination: originate new business through outbound calls and executive meetings.
• Advisory Growth Leadership: lead account strategies and shape value propositions and programs.
• Pursuit Leadership & Win Strategy: coach pursuit teams through qualification, solutioning, pricing, and closing.
• Market Presence & Executive Connectivity: cultivate relationships with senior executives and industry forums.
• Solution Specific Duties: identify opportunities tied to finance modernization and enterprise platform changes.
• Maintain executive-level dialogue with boards and C-suite to align pursuits with growth and profitability.
