Job summary

Travere Therapeutics seeks an experienced Executive Director, Clinical Development to lead nephrology programs in rare kidney diseases. You will shape development strategy, oversee trials, and partner with Regulatory, Biometrics, Medical Writing, and Commercial teams.

Reporting to Global Clinical Development, you will drive cross-functional execution, build integrated plans, and mentor leaders while ensuring scientifically rigorous, patient-centered approaches across programs.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree required.
• 10+ years of clinical research or drug development experience.
• Leadership experience in nephrology or related rare diseases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall clinical development strategy for assigned trials and contribute to indication strategy.
• Oversee study design, endpoints, dose selection, and statistical considerations.
• Provide leadership for study conduct and data interpretation, and author key documents.
• Partner with Biometrics to define analysis strategy and interpret efficacy, safety, PK/PD, and biomarkers data.
• Represent Clinical Development at governance forums and communicate strategic options.
