Job summary

Ohio State University in Columbus is seeking an Exam Services Program Assistant to coordinate accommodated exams and improve accessibility of assessments within Student Life Disability Services. You will oversee shift operations for the Exam Services area, train 35+ student employees, and lead initiatives on hardware, software, and data management with the IT team.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 2 years in social or student services.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and databases.
• Experience in team settings and customer service.
• Experience with diverse individuals.
• Supervisory experience.
• Successful background check.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate accommodated exams and help ensure test integrity.
• Oversee daily/shift operations of Exam Services area.
• On-board, train, and supervise 35+ student employees and temp staff.
• Lead initiatives on hardware, software, and data management with SLDS IT.
• Communicate with students, faculty, and staff to implement accommodations.
• Coordinate and implement finals on/off-site.
• Support Exams Director with security and integrity efforts.
