Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking an Exams Services Program Assistant to coordinate accommodated exams and improve assessment accessibility on campus. You will oversee daily operations, proctor exams, and on-board/train 35+ student employees as shift lead for Exams Services.

Working within Student Life Disability Services, you will collaborate with faculty, staff, and technology teams to implement accommodations, ensure security, and support finals logistics on and off-site.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education/experience required.
• 2 years in social or student services environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and databases.
• Customer service experience and teamwork ability.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate accommodated exams for students with disabilities.
• Oversee daily/shift operations of Exam Services area, supervise 35+ student employees.
• Proctor and coordinate 20,000+ accommodated exams annually.
• Lead exams data management improvements with SLDS and Tech Services.
• Ensure test integrity and security; coordinate finals on/off-site.
