Responsibilities

• Ensures events progress seamlessly by following established procedures, collaborating with staff, and ensuring accuracy.
• Greets customers during the event and hands off to Event Operations for execution of details.
• Adheres to all standards, policies, and procedures.
• Ensures billing accuracy and reviews final bills with clients before processing.
• Manages group room blocks and meeting space for average to large groups.
• Identifies operational challenges with group and coordinates with staff and customer for solutions.
• Incorporates current trends in event management and design into operations.
• Acts as liaison between field salesperson and customer throughout the event process.
• Participates in site inspections and assists with the sales process as needed.
• Performs other duties to meet business needs.
• Solicits feedback from departments to identify improvement areas.

Education

High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years event management experience

2-year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration; 1+ year event management experience
