Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in Nashville seeks a Convention Services Manager to lead event execution with a guest-focused mindset. You will coordinate meetings, conventions and special events booked through sales, aligning client needs with hotel operations to deliver flawless experiences.

The ideal candidate brings strong communication, organization, and hospitality knowledge; 1–2 years in sales or marketing; familiarity with F&B coordination, space planning, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related coursework preferred.
• 1–2 years in sales or marketing; hotel sales or catering knowledge a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate food & beverage prices and function space within guidelines.
• Assist client with menu planning, décor, traffic flow, and room setup.
• Plan and attend pre/post-convention meetings.
• Manage space inventory and ensure timely BEO paperwork.
• Build relationships with meeting planners and coordinate with sales staff.
• Coordinate with hotel departments to meet client requirements.
