Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years of experience in event management or related area.
• Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; at least 1 year experience in event management.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with Sales, property departments and customers to ensure high-level service throughout pre-event, event and post-event phases.
• Handles events of average complexity and ensures turnover from sales to service and back to sales.
• Identifies revenue opportunities by upselling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events.
