The role requires strong customer service, staff leadership, and adherence to safety and policy standards. Responsibilities include staffing, setup and teardown, scheduling adherence, problem solving, and acting as a liaison between clients and the facility.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree in Sports/Recreation, Management, Business, Communications or Education or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years event planning and customer service; one year supervisory experience.
  • Certification/License: CPR certification and first aid training; background check required; valid driver’s license.
  • Other: Must comply with the Drug-Free Workplace Policy and insurability standards.
  • Knowledge/Skills: CPR/First Aid, public facility setup, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as building supervisor and facility liaison for events.
  • Ensure event staff, customers, and logistics run smoothly.
  • Enforce facility policies, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Solve staff and customer issues and adjust staff schedules as needed.
  • Provide coverage across facility departments during busy times.
