Job summary

Texas A&M University-Kingsville is seeking an Events Coordinator II to plan, market, and execute high‑quality events for the King Ranch Institute for Ranch Management. You will serve as the primary liaison with clients before, during, and after events to ensure a positive experience for all participants.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and at least two years of event planning and marketing experience, with supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of related experience in event planning and marketing, including supervisory experience.
• Experience in higher education, nonprofit, or agricultural organizations preferred.
• Familiarity with virtual and hybrid event platforms (Zoom/Teams).
• Knowledge of marketing tools for event promotion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and markets large events and conferences, including scheduling, space requests, contracts, registrations, and service requirements.
• Provides on-site client liaison during events and coordinates pre- and post-event details with customers.
• Maintains and coordinates the centralized events calendar and site safety for events.
• Makes recommendations for policy and procedure implementation related to event planning and delivery.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
