Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering seeks an Administrative Coordinator I to support the Engineering Technology unit in College Station. You will exercise discretion and help manage office operations and events under supervision.

Responsibilities include travel coordination, meeting support, file maintenance, and supervising student workers. A bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience are required; proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations is desirable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of related experience.
  • Administrative experience.
  • Experience with planning, implementing and executing events.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in planning and execution of administrative operations and events.
  • Monitors office procedures and supports the office manager as needed.
  • Reviews documents for supervisor and attends meetings on their behalf.
  • Provides administrative information and supports programs and policies.
  • Coordinates travel arrangements, meetings, and special events.
  • Maintains files, records, supplies, and equipment; supports process improvements.
  • Hires, trains, and supervises student workers and support staff.
